SVANEMERKET
As a Svanemerket company, we meet a number of environmental obligations. That means, among other things. that we only use paper from sustainable forestry, approved inks and that any subcontractors meet our environmental requirements.
GRØNT PUNKT NORGE AS
Grønt Punkt Norge AS (GPN) operates return schemes for packaging so that this goes to recycling and new products. As an approved member company, we undertake to follow the guidelines for the treatment of residual waste. We know that all used packaging and cuttings from our printing business go to recycling and new production.
TRYKT I NORGE
As a customer of Ålgård Offset, you can use the Printed in Norway brand to show that your printed matter is short-lived and produced in an environmentally friendly way. Printed in Norway is developed by the Norwegian Industry – Graphic Industry Association and can only be used by their members.
PEFC
The certification means that we must be able to document the use of the right certified paper internally in our production. PEFC is the forest industry’s own certification system, and helps to promote environmentally, socially and economically sound operations of forestry. There is also a traceability certification that allows printed matter to be followed throughout the process from the forest to the consumer.

Technical information
Profiles
The importance of using profiles is to achieve the best possible printing result on the paper the customer has chosen. It starts with the image processor and follows the process until the finished printed matter. (Instructions for use can be found in the download link at the bottom of the page)
Color management
All our printing machines have in-line color management (AVT-Advanced Vision Technology) for the best possible color balance. AVT uses an in-line spectrophotometer to collect color measurements on the paper, complying with ISO 13655’s standard method
Production management
To achieve our visions of being the most efficient and profitable printing company in Scandinavia, we need accurate data to monitor every minute of production. To achieve this, we have chosen to invest in EFI’s Auto Count 4D, which is the next generation platform in production management. It allows us to automatically collect accurate and up-to-date production data.
This significantly improves the workflow.
FINISHING AND PACKING
In our premises we have our own cutting machine, our own folding machines as well as stitchers and glue mills. We varnish and foil in our own house, which saves you both time and money.
CREATIVE SOLUTIONS
We help you think new – Comes with inspiring solutions, which can utilize space – possibly alternative formats. Contribute with layout work – Or design the printed matter from scratch – Corrections / retouches of text and images, as well as good advice on paper and color profiles.
Print format
We do not call ourselves Norway’s most flexible web offset printing company for nothing. Our largest print format is 94 × 60 centimeters. It involves the following:
- A maximum page size of 47 × 30 centimeters for multi-page printed matter.
- Smaller page formats have almost no restrictions.
- We can produce up to 32 different special formats.
- Our sheeter provides countless opportunities.

POSTERS AND SMALL PRINTED MATTERS
Vi har en digital trykkmaskin som både stifter, falser og skjærer. Dermed kan vi produsere de fleste trykksaker i små opplag.
With two MAN Lithoman SIII and three Komori S38 Web heatset presses including sheet spreader one Komori HUV sheetfed, we are ready to print any printed matter you can think of. In addition, we have about 2,000 tons of paper in stock at any one time, so the flexibility is great.
